The New Florida Watershed Journal
(click link to access)

Bill Lynch, FWJ Executive Committee Chair

We are excited to announce the modernization of the Florida Watershed Journal (FWJ).  The FWJ will now publish solely in an online e-format that is search-enhanced, easier to read on a mobile device or tablet and environmentally friendly!  Let’s face it—most of us are reading more on our phones and tablets now. Fittingly, our transition to this new format features our Graduate Student issue, written by authors who have grown up in the digital age.

Our vision is to use this new format to evolve the FWJ into an integral website that serves our readers by providing relevant peer-reviewed articles and a gateway to “all things Florida Water”.  This is a format where all of us – from students and new professionals all the way to seasoned international experts – will be given a voice to publish on what matters most in a format that allows for rapid publication and widespread readership.  We will also maintain our peer review process, but articles will be published individually in special themed topic sections of this website. We believe that this is the right format to serve our readers and publish relevant information on our water community.
