    Environmental Scientist III job duties include providing expertise and support for scientific assessments, including study design, sampling, and data analysis, to characterize the impacts to surface waters from watershed activity, point and nonpoint contributions, modifications in hydrologic regime, or other factors to assure protection of biological and water quality resources. Environmental Scientist IV job duties include analyzing and reviewing water quality, hydrologic, wetland plant and organism data to evaluate designated use impairments, project effectiveness, and environmental goal achievement.
