Gregory Mount, PhD Assistant Chief Resilience Officer at Broward County, leads initiatives to enhance community resilience against climate-related hazards. With a Ph.D. in Near-Surface Hydrogeophysics and an M.A. in Archaeology, his research focuses on the intersection of geology, hydrology, and human systems in the Everglades region. Dr. Mount has been instrumental in integrating drone and LiDAR technologies into the county's resilience efforts, facilitating rapid post-storm assessments and detailed environmental monitoring.
